NEXT OF KIN

Life embraces many surprises and uncertainties and occasionally a third party needs to notify friends and relatives of an emergency situation. If there are no immediately available records regarding telephone numbers or addresses, physical or e-mail, locating individuals that should be notified can be a lengthy and frustrating process.     

To expedite the notification process The Sunnyside United Methodist Church maintains a “Next of Kin” file for all that provide information regarding emergency notification. This information is held in confidence and is used only for notification purposes if needed.

Individuals may chose to leave an emergency entry house key as well. Emergency entry keys eliminate the need for a forced entry in some circumstances. Keys stored at the church as emergency entry keys will be tagged and stored in the church safe.

This is a preparedness measure individuals are encouraged to give serious consideration.
